A 1988-batch Indian Administrative Services officer and an alumnus of Punjab Engineering College, is the individual responsible for the establishment of the new synthetic track in the Sports Complex, Sector-7, Chandigarh. He provides his assistance and guidance to the CAA and consistently supports the team.

Harjinder Singh
With the addition of Harjinder Singh in 2019, the CAA team acquired the best leadership role in the fields of political and economic affairs of the Association. Harjinder never backed down when it came to bringing sponsors for the events. Thus, he is referred to as the "FINANCIAL BACKBONE" of the CAA. He's also a former international player and a school games record holder in the 200m sprint event. His insights and vision for the future will undoubtedly help Athletics in Chandigarh reach new and aspiring heights.

Jaspinder Singh
Taking hold of the reins of CAA, Athletics in Chandigarh witnessed a new era, with participation numbers skyrocketing from 400 to 4000 through the organization of several national and state-level championships. Notably, The National Cross Country Championships (2021) and the Indian Grand Prix 5 played a significant role in establishing a name for themselves. Jaspinder helped everyone realize the active role sponsors play in conducting an event and assembled a team of professionals who have successfully managed the games thus far. As a former national champion in the 400m and with his experience in MNC Banking, coupled with his dynamic and innovative approach, one can confidently say that the future of Chandigarh Athletics is in good hands.
